Dr Iwan Davies- STARTING SEPT 2025

Dr Iwan Davies has over 10 years’ experience working in the United Kingdom’s NHS, with over 5 years’ experience working as a paediatrician. He has worked in multiple neonatal intensive care units and specialist children’s hospitals and will bring this specialist expertise to the assessment and management of children and young people.

Dr Davies completed his GP training 2024 and has successfully practised in a wide range of patient demographics that has given him the skills to manage diverse clinical scenarios. He enjoys the continuity of care offered in general practice and finds managing medical complexity and multi-morbidity rewarding.

He will join the team at Waratah Medical Services in 2025, which will fulfil his ambitions to experience working in an alternative healthcare system. Outside of work, Dr Davies is a keen sportsman. He is a fluent Welsh speaker and maintains a healthy work-life balance by engaging in judo - where he holds a black belt - and playing rugby. He also enjoys cooking and travelling, having backpacked extensively through Latin America, Asia, and Europe.
